Banque Cantonale Vaudoise is one of the largest banks in the French speaking Switzerland with key businesses in private and institutional asset management market and corporate banking; BCV chose AmSoft to restructure their web presence as a means of providing a high performance marketing tool to showcase their service offerings in line with the new trends in the financial world. The entire solution was built around Broadvision's One-to-One platform to cater to the needs of individual customers.

The solution objectives were:

• Data structuring, archiving and publishing.
• Provide marketing information through product showcases.
• Establishing publishing workflows & processes.

The infrastructure developed by AmSoft Systems for BCV is a marketing portal platform in which browser based publishing interfaces for BCV personnel. A major part of the project was dedicated to understanding the varying requirements of end users, content providers, marketing resources so as to make a design for a database that met these requirements and was still open enough to incorporate additional data that might be required in future. An optimized navigation was designed for categorization of banking products. Interfaces were also provided for creation and maintenance of new categories as also publishing interfaces for partners providing multimedia content. In the next phase, it is planned to implement high security and to integrate internet banking in the portal

AmSoft delivered the solution in a record time of five months. Following a rigorously tested and industry accepted methodology, AmSoft's team of solution architects started out by analyzing the systems in place and worked closely with business managers of Banco Cantonale to define the requirements and proposed a solution framework using reusable custom objects that worked with a XML repository of normalized content.

Our solution implemented the workflows and processes involved in marketing and publishing with Role based interfaces that resulted in a smooth deployment with little retraining.
