OVERVIEW
SelfGuard is a industry-grade personalized transaction authorization platform
that enables authorization through mobile phones for events occurring in almost
any system for instance: credit-card authorization, ETL, access to enterprise
resources systems etc. These systems publish their event data to SelfGuard via
the event listener. On the other hand subscribers can configure their rules,
defining which events they want to authorize (or receive notifications for). As
and when these events occur, the information is published to SelfGuard, that
analyzes which events require notifications or authorization and from which
subscriber. Based on that SelfGuard generates an authorization message by
placing a voice call or a notification delivered on the subscribers chosen
device such as a mobile phone, PDA, Pager, Fax, Voice Mail, etc. based on
user's preferences, availability, location, and calendar information.
SelfGuard is an application-independent solution that supports the construction
of multiple event-based services for banking or credit provider. SelfGuard is a
loosely coupled distributed system designed to transparently scale with number
of subscribers and publishers, number of event subscription points, and event
delivery rates.
